Here is a little sneak peek:

"Be confident — This is way easier said than done, but at times, it’s best to adopt a “fake it til you make it” mentality. Your attitude and the way you present yourself affect your life. Make sure you’re projecting confidence and are surrounded by encouraging people. When you become more confident, you’ll stop hiding and start taking more risks. That’s the only real way to succeed."

On-screen, you can find me on the award-winning digital series "Female Friendly", which I had the pleasure of co-creating and writing as well. Additionally, my dimples graced the tv-sphere on "Lucifer", where I played a southern roller derby queen opposite of the devil himself on Fox/Netflix. My n...

RB, this was an enjoyable, entertaining and informative read! I also pursued theatre and film/TV roles and duties while working 7 years in oil & gas and then 10 years in wind energy - a major career development all on its own... But I never lost sight of these things that fueled my soul. Writing and filmmaking in addition to mental health advocacy get me out of bed in the morning. And it's folks like you who keep me dreaming while wide awake at night. Thank you for sharing this with us!

Another awesome interview but  surprising to find out that you´ve studied Pharmacy. I liked especially your advice to be confident and even to fake it .

Thank you for sharing from the heart RB.  You and your dad shared commonality of Pharmacy.  Now you both can use it when you work on projects related to that subject matter.  Great piece!

Your welcome RB.  The interview conveyed the joy he felt for helping you and others share their testimony and how to be a change agent in the entertainment industry.  His legacy is still being felt to this day.

Thanks, Tasha.  Sadly, he passed away a few years ago.  But he played a huge part in shaping my book, Crowdsourcing for Filmmakers, before he passed which was extremely special for me and something I cherish greatly.

I sometimes get stuck in the mindset that the only way into this business is through film school. This interview reminds me that this doesn't always have to be the case (from pharmacy to film, love it). Thank you for sharing the 5 tips, confidence is something I am going to be working on this year.

Don't get me started on film school ;). Truth be told, contacts, understanding how the industry ticks, self educating and taking action are the keys to success in this business.  Dive in and don't sweat the "traditional way" because there isn't one.   I hope you'll be active here and contribute where you can.  I have no doubt it will help you with your confidence.  Win the day, win the week, win the year.  Step by step.  Appreciate you commenting, Annelies!
