Coffee & Content: John Krasinski & Bo Burnham Writers Roundtable & 4 Ways to End a Movie

Happy Sunday Creative Army!
First of all, congratulations to all of you who have already participated in our monthly Introduce Yourself Weekend! Thousands of connections have been made between entertainment creatives and professionals from every corner of the globe. Whether you are a long-time member, or brand new to Stage 32, take a moment to pop over to the Introduce Yourself Lounge and say hello before the end of the weekend. With the Great Content Gold Rush of 2021 is full swing, there is no better time to jump in and start networking.
Now, grab some fresh coffee and let's dive into this week's content.
First up, The Hollywood Reporter has a roundtable series where they sit down with the industry's top talent to discuss their craft. In this video, they chat with John Krasinski (A Quiet Place), Bo Burnham (Eight Grade), Tamara Jenkins (Private Life), Eric Roth (A Star Is Born), Paul Schrader (First Reformed), and Peter Farrelly (Green Book). This all-star lineup of writers discusses film's role in politics, writing about the human condition, and much more.
Next up, our friends over at StudioBinder have put together a video covering four ways to end any movie. In this video, they propose that there are really only four ways to end a movie: Sweet, Semi-Sweet, Bitter-Sweet, or Bitter. This video specifically covers "sweet" endings, using examples from Back to the Future and Pixar's Soul.
As always here at Stage 32, we love to share stories and knowledge with our fellow film fans. Know someone who would love this content? Share it with them! Tag them below!
