The 11th Annual November Write Club Is Almost Here — Start Preparing Now!

Hey Stage 32 Community!
Can you believe November is just one week away? That means it’s almost time for one of my favorite annual Stage 32 traditions — The 11th Annual November Write Club!
Every November, creatives from all over the world come together on Stage 32 for a month of motivation, accountability, and community. It’s our biggest and most feel-good creative challenge of the year — and whether you’re a writer, filmmaker, actor, producer, or any other kind of storyteller, this is your moment to finish the year strong.
So What Exactly is November Write Club?
It’s simple: you pick a goal and make it happen. That’s it.
That first draft you need to finish? Get on it.
That short you’ve been planning? Film it.
Those query letters you’ve been putting off? Write them.
That new network you’ve been wanting to build? Start reaching out.
Every goal is personal — and that’s what makes Write Club so powerful. For one month, the entire Stage 32 Community rallies behind you, cheering you on and helping you stay accountable.
Throughout November, we’ll be here with weekly blogs, creative challenges, motivational tips, and exclusive prizes to help keep you focused and inspired.
How To Set Yourself Up For Success Before Write Club Begins
You don’t need to wait until November 1st to start preparing — in fact, now is the perfect time to get your goals in order. Here’s how to set yourself up for success this year:
1. Brainstorm Your Big Picture
Take a few minutes to unplug, breathe, and just dream. Write down everything you want to do, have, or be in your creative career. Don’t worry about how realistic it is yet — just get it all out.
2. Get Focused
Now, look at your list and choose one to three tangible goals that you can realistically tackle in a month. Ask yourself: what’s one big step that would move me closer to where I want to be?
If your dream is to be a professional screenwriter, maybe your November goal is to finish a first draft.
If your dream is to land representation, maybe your goal is to research reps and send a set number of queries.
Your goal doesn’t have to be massive — it just needs to be meaningful.
3. Build Your Plan
Break your big goal into small, achievable daily or weekly tasks. Be realistic about your schedule — if you can’t write every day, plan to make progress three or four days a week. The key is consistency, not perfection.
And if you’re working toward something like finding reps, your plan might look like:
- Save some Stage 32 Webinars to watch this month and continue your education
- Request sample queries and pitches from the Success Team (success@stage32.com).
- Research reps who represent writers you admire.
- Send out queries — personalize them, track your outreach, and celebrate every step forward.
4. Build & Lean On Your Community
November Write Club is about so much more than the goal itself — it’s about the connections you’ll make along the way. Every Monday, you’ll find a new blog with weekly challenges and inspiration.

Whether you’re here to finish a script, build your portfolio, or simply reconnect with your creative spark — this is your time.
You don’t need to do it alone. You’ve got the full Stage 32 community (and me!) cheering you on every step of the way.
So, start brainstorming, get your goals ready, and prepare to join the creative challenge that brings this incredible community together every year.
Let’s make the 11th Annual November Write Club our most inspiring one yet.
