ambiguity

Ambiguity, or ambiguous, is a situation, storyline, scene, character, or other, in which there are apparent contradictions. Ambiguity is when an event (and its outcome) is deliberately left unclear, and there may exist more than one meaning or interpretation, it can be intentional or unintentional to provoke imaginative thinking or confusion deliberately.
