body double

A body double is an on-camera performer who takes the place of an actor in scenes that require a close-up of body parts without the face visible, often for nude scenes requiring exposed close-ups (considered distasteful by some actors), or scenes requiring physical fitness. Not to be confused with a "stunt double" or "stand-in."
