Martin Scorsese on What Makes a Great Screenplay & Richard Linklater on the Director/Actor Relationship

Happy Sunday, everyone. Back from the cold of Sundance and into the rain of L.A. Not complaining, mind you, just stating fact. A huge congratulations to all the Stage 32 educators and members who not only had films at Sundance, but were involved in some of the biggest sales up there this year. We'll be updating you on what went on with the Stage 32 family soon.
For now, let's warm up with another edition of Coffee & Content.
First up, it's on YouTube, but it's just audio. It's also 13 minutes of Martin Scorsese laying down some knowledge as to what makes a great screenplay.
Next, from the offCamera show, a segment from a longer interview with acclaimed director, Richard Linklater. Here Linklater discusses the collaborative relationship between a director and his actors.
As always, as I share with you, I ask you to share with others! Please do post this blog to your other social media accounts and wherever else you think worthy.
And, of course, I welcome your thoughts and musings in the comments section below.
Enjoy your Sunday and the coffee & content.
Cheers!
